My Blog

Hi and welcome to my blog ‘Philospiritual Musings’

I am a trained clinical hypnotherapist and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioner currently taking a break from my therapy work to concentrate on raising my young son.  I will also be bringing a second child into the world in 2013!  In order to continue my work helping others, particularly with anxiety, I have turned my attention to writing and intend to publish my first piece of therapeutic fiction ‘Caterpillar Heaven: Are you open to a different way of seeing?’ later this year.  The book is a children’s style story for adults and young adults and was inspired by books such as Johnathan Livingstone Seagull by Richard Bach and The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery. It is aimed at people who are struggling to enjoy life for fear of missing out on reaching their potential.  It offers practical tools for overcoming many life challenges and an overactive mind, you can learn and test out alongside the main character.

This blog is intended to be an outlet for my daily musings on the world around me and the insights I gain from observing the seemingly ordinary aspects of day to day living.  Thanks for taking the time to have a look and please feel free to leave your comments.

Hi, Zoe. This is beautiful. Love the lovely image of you and the river(?) view, not to mention the convenience of having your wonderful words all here together.

Thanks Cheryl, that picture was actually taken in a friend’s garden a few years ago now. Its actually the sky not a river, although I do like the idea of it looking like water in the background. Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Sorry, just realised you were referring to the main picture when you said river! Yes not sure where it is but it seemed to fit nicely with the overall feel of the blog 🙂
